ST. JOHN, USVI [January 5, 2004] - W. Hardy Interactive, Inc. (WHardy) today announced the release of a new website at Maho.org for Maho Bay Camps, Inc., located on St. John in the US Virgin Islands.  Maho Bay offers four "Green" eco-tourism resorts, where dwellings are constructed almost entirely of recycled materials, powered by the sun and wind, and built with site-sensitive techniques that preserve and protect the fragile eco-system of the US Virgin Islands. 

The new Website is an extension of WHardy’s five-year working relationship with Maho Bay.  Most recently, WHardy designed a custom reservation system for Maho Bay that allows site visitors to check availability and book their stay entirely on-line.  In addition, WHardy designed a custom Intranet that provides Maho staff with advanced productivity tools.  As an example, the Intranet allows staff to easily manage the thousands of applications they receive for their popular summer work-exchange program.

The new Website launched today integrates on-line reservations, Intranet connectivity, and many new technology elements such as a visitor photo exchange and guest book, advanced events management, downloadable wallpaper and more.  WHardy also hosts the Maho Bay portfolio of Websites which receive over 1,000 visitors per day, as well as hosting the Intranet, broadcast e-mail services, and staff e-mail systems.  The Website is managed through a custom-design content management system.
